      Sounds like a neat trick. Although unnecessary. You don’t need a special tool. Could just use a socket and washer to pull the stud in. Doesn’t take much time.

    How about a higher grade stud.

    • @DemoDad101
      @DemoDad101 15 днів тому

      The issue isn’t stud breaking. Its lug nuts being cross threaded. So a higher grade studs would make this much more difficult if they’re ever cross threaded. These replacement studs are grade 8, just like the OEM.

      As I said in the video, whenever it’s dealer serviced…they almost always cross thread the lug on the stud. Now that I have a shop with a lift, and the basic warranty is gone…I do most of the service and repair myself.

    I completely agree with your purchase. I am definitely a right tools for the right job type of guy, but in my opinion when it comes to things like this, I’d rather just use an oversize nut rather than buy a kit that’s more than likely cheap shit unless you’re gonna spend a couple hundred dollars on a namebrand kit.

    • @DemoDad101
      @DemoDad101 15 днів тому

      The oversized socket method is totally fine. The only real difference is that this Lisle tool has a conical bevel so that the lug pulls the stud in completely straight and flush. It was a pretty cheap tool that I found when I picked up the Dorman studs. I didn’t see the point in OEM studs since they are the same grade and they were cheaper.

    I have the exact same Bora and because of your recommendation I just upgraded it with the double p-tops exactly like you did. However I started with only the one top and I've decided that just doesn't meet my needs so I am buying two more. They are *not* inexpensive and many people would choose to do something else, but I'm paying for the break-down-and-stow-away capability since I work in a crowded home garage. I can still make more money, but I can't make more time or more space. Not saying your advice is incorrect, just that different people have different needs and different budgets for money/space/time. For cutting a sheet of plywood I lay some foam insulation board on top of the bare leg assembly to support the plywood; it works perfectly and the pieces of foam insulation board fit in the sheet goods portion of my scrap cart. Many thanks for calling out the double p-tops, they are exactly what I needed.

    Thank you for doing the review on a 3039 r I have the same tractor 2018 model. Yes I'm going to agree with complaints you have (some of). But overall I love the tractor and would buy it again. I did rent some other brands and they did not even come close to this tractor. I like some of these attachments or add-ons you put on. I'd like to have grab handles for the back cab Post. Yeah and I guess at 5:11 grill guard work pretty good cuz I need to do something too when I'm running my gravel ? Jeanette the function running all the way to the front for the gravel also runs my belly dick so it's a little aggravating trying to get everything switched around plugged up the way it has to be to switch to the belly deck from a grapple. You're right they needed to put some more ScV hookups on the back. Well I'll go for now keep up the good work and reviews for the Tractor.

    This LOOKED like a great idea. It was a NIGHTMARE to put together, and even after done properly, I noted 2 huge drawbacks; 1) All of my Cordless Power Tools have Belt Clips, and once the added thickness of those is taken into account, there's no way to arrange ones tools without them being "Wonky". Second, as you noted, there is a MASSIVE amount of WASTED SPACE left in the drawer once this is inserted. Considering what my 72" Tool Cabinet cost, imo there is ZERO JUSTIFICATION for this amount of wasted and unusable "Real Estate". "Just say NO" to the cost of this, the PAIN to assemble and properly configure it, and all of the otherwise usable space you'll be forfeiting with this "organizer" BAD DESIGN imo!!!

    The cable is too short, on this model, the vevor company says that it has a 16.4ft semi rigid cable for inspection. That must be an extra accessory. Also it does not have a casing to carry it. The box will eventually deteriorate

      I leave the box and foam in one of the drawers of my US General Series 3 toolbox. I’m fine with the box deteriorating. That foam will last a very long time though.

    Check out some of the dog hole uses. I think you may change your mind about ditching the current top.

    Out of those three Capri offerings, Astro Pneumatic has a couple of contenders which are their ONYX 3/8″ Nano Impact (v2) rated @ 500ft/lb and the 3/8″ Nano Flex-Head Angle Impact rated @ 400ft/lb. wrenches. I don't know who came out with these first, but they're good to have. Nice Capri haul there by the way. I have the Capri super thin 14-Piece wrench set, some hex bit socket sets and the WaveDrive Combination wrench metric set. I'm not disappointed at all.

      I also enjoy their wrenches. That’s why I decided to pickup their sockets.

      Astro makes some pretty solid stuff. Everything I’ve gotten from them have been awesome. Some of it isn’t quite all there for millwrighting but that’s fine.

    Which ones are you using for the Ratchet Wrenchs?

      I primarily use Icon and Milwaukee ratcheting wrenches. Those are all stored with toolbox wrench organizer widgets. I hope that answers your question.

    This isn't a K-Tools product review. It's a Milwaukee ad campaign.

      It’s not. I’m not sponsored by either company. The Milwaukee wrenches are shaped weird and have a very wide beam.
